SHIP EMISSIONS MEASURING DEVICES
SICK's MARSIC ship emissions measuring device is an innovative solution for reliably measuring emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and MEPC.259(68). Designed to be used aboard of ships, MARSIC has a minimum of movable parts to keep maintenance requirements and costs down.
MARSIC has very low measuring range for SO2 (0-30ppm) and thanks to certified internal calibration tool expensive calibration gases is not needed. One MARSIC can handle up to to 8 measurement points and measure up to 9 measuring components at the same time (SO2, CO2, CO, NO, NO2. NH3, CH4, H2O and O2).
MARSIC is fully Type Approved (Class and MARPOL) by DNV GL, ABS, CCS, NK and acc. to MED guidelines.
SICK's MARSIC ship emissions measuring device is an innovative solution for reliably measuring emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and MEPC.259(68). MARSIC is type-approved by DNV GL, ABS, CCS and NK for this application and measures both SOx and CO2 upstream and downstream of the scrubbers, and NOx upstream and downstream of SCR. In addition, it can also be used for process measurements such as CH4 in LNG (liquefied natural gas) and dual-fuel engines.
